Franklin claims 1st victory in doubleheader split with Pikeville
SAVANNAH, Ga. (March 8) - After trailing by a run, Franklin College scored four runs in the top of the fifth inning and went on to top Pikeville College (Ky.) 8-4 in the second game of their softball doubleheader in the Savannah College of Art and Design Smash Hit Spring Break Tournament today.

Heather Watson appointed interim head coach
FRANKLIN, Ind. (May 21) - Franklin College has announced the appointment of Heather Watson as the school’s interim head softball coach. The announcement was made today by Director of Athletics Kerry Prather.

Russo named to NFCA All-Central Region Second Team

FRANKLIN, Ind. (May 14) – Two Franklin College softball players were selected to the 2009 All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference First Team for the 2009 season. The league’s honor team is selected by vote of the league's coaches.
